Hands should never be put into the pockets of suit jackets/sportcoats, IMO. (Unless it is to retrieve something from them)

I absolutely disagree. This is one of the reasons some people just look stiff and wrong in their suits. I make full use of the pockets. I put **** there, I keep my hands there, whatever.

Funny enough, I bought a vintagey BB sportscoat a couple weeks ago, the pockets were still sewn shut..

Because you don't know anything about women's fashion anyway?
Because women are afforded more possibilities without being judged as too eccentric/fashionny/whatever?
Because they're often hot so it makes the outfit better?

Because most of us don't pay as much attention to the details of women's clothes, as much as we do to their overall attractiveness.

Usually a woman falls into the category of 'smash' or 'do not want'. Very few care about the drape of their sweater.
