Ink for Pelikan rollerball

Bought a Pelikan Souveran 405 Rollerball a while back and stocked up on some Pelikan inks.

I find that the Pelikan inks dry out too quickly, even though I use the pen on a daily basis and I'm looking for some recommendations on other refills that I can use.

The pen itself is the last on this page

Can that be done with rollerballs without modification? Many I see tend to have very specific barrel shapes to accept manufacture cartridges.

I suggest that excellent forum for all things quality pen related. Though it focuses on fountain pens primarily, rollerball's close proximity to how fountain pens act means they tend to be covered as well. Plus there are pen collectors there who are rather knowledgeable about all writing implements.

Cheers for that. I'm familiar with a few of the pen forums, but was hoping that someone could give me advice here before I had to run off and register just to ask a solitary question!

I'm a fountain pen user so I don't have any ideas for you. However, I think you'll find your answer quickly on the Fountain Pen Network. Lots of good info.

You should get a fountain pen, do not fear them, you don't know what you're missing.

I do have a fountain pen, a Waterman (can't remember the model).

But people in the office think I'm pompous because of the way I dress, so I don't really want to give them any further ammunition.

Haha, I totally understand, try using one at 17!

I suggest telling them to do something anatomically impossible.
