I tend to frequent websites of my favorite artists more than anything. But, a site I was given yesterday by an instructor that you may find useful is http://photography-now.net

dgrin is a superb community with a wide range of talents, weekly competitions and good feedback threads on your photos. An impressive layout to the site, I have been a member for years but haven't used it for quite some time. Very friendly crowd. www.dgrin.com

http://flickr.com is really where it's at.
dpreview is great for reviews etc, but the forums are full of trolls and pixel peepings posts.

Find a Flickr group which you're interested in (Safari, street photography, portraiture etc) an dive in. Great for feedback, inspiration and general geekery.
