Workout Plan/Diet to get back at Bitchy GF

Hi everybody. Please don't get mad at me for not using the search function. I'm not too good at using forums and such, and so if my thread is a common one, I'd still appreciate a common reply.

My girlfriend of two years told me last week that she wouldn't mind if I started going to the gym again. It was an effective enough hint. The real salt in the wound is that she sent me pictures of another guy who she likes who has the body she finds attractive. And since this guy is out of her league, she wants to change me into him. So I want to fulfill her desire, and then dump her ass because I'm out of her league too.

I'm young, a couple months shy of 20. I'm 5'10" and my weight is really strange, it fluctuates constantly between 148-163. Right now I am sitting at 155. My body isn't too far off from this other guys and I came here for help in finding a proper workout plan/diet. I don't have too much fat on my body, mostly in the stomach, a little on the top-back of my arms and a little at the top-inside of my thighs. It probably sounds like I am built like a girl. I know there is no such thing as spot-reduction with fat, but I would like to lose the fat around my stomach.

I'm hardly defined, so I need to tone and slightly bulk. I don't need to work too much on my lower body, I need to focus on the whole upper body, the whole arms, chest, back, stomach and shoulders. I'm looking for a workout plan, and also diet that will help me get this definition and bulk. I am also planning on using creatine. Are there other supplements I should consider taking? I don't compete in any athletics so I'm fine taking the things that will just help me get the shape I want. Any help is greatly appreciated.

If it would help, I could post a picture of this guy and of myself and maybe that could make help more specific.

Awesome.

Deca+Dbol+Clomid stack followed by a Stanozol cycle if you can find it. Check the local stables.

Yeah, she sounds like a keeper already.

That's pretty mature. Why not dump her now if a change in your body composition would make you feel inclined to break up with her? Not that she sounds like the kind of person worth wasting time over with regards to a serious relationship.

You'll need to lose fat everywhere to see it fat loss there. If that's the biggest problem on you for fat, then that's the last place the fat is going to come off of.

I'm hardly defined, so I need to tone and slightly bulk.
Unless you're a total beginner to lifting, this isn't going to be easy. Pick one or the other for now. I'd say bulk because cutting at your weight is going to make you look sickly.

I don't need to work too much on my lower body, I need to focus on the whole upper body, the whole arms, chest, back, stomach and shoulders.
Big mistake. If your lower body is anything like your upper body, you most certainly need to work on it. Unless you want to look like one of those morons with a swollen upper body and chicken legs.

I'm looking for a workout plan, and also diet that will help me get this definition and bulk.
Go buy "The New Rules of Lifting." Great book full if full-body routines. Lots of variety, too. Routines focused on fat loss, strength, and hypertrophy. You won't regret it.

I am also planning on using creatine. Are there other supplements I should consider taking?
You should consider not relying on supplements to produce results. You need to eat clean food. Up the protein. Post what you normally eat on a given day and be honest. I'll bet it's not nearly enough to meet the kind of goals you're looking for.

In sum, you look like a hard gainer, so don't expect to pack on the muscle or trim the fat overnight.

And for what it's worth, the "other" guy lacks much muscle and looks like his routine consists of little outside of bicep curls. Do yourself a favor and don't try to emulate that look.

Dude, if you lift properly for even one month, you'd have a better body then that other guy.

You've got one thing going for you already - you are pretty thin, as opposed to someone who needs to drop 50 lbs of flab. I think that with your physique, you should be able to add muscle while staying lean. Figure out your BMR, shoot for somewhat higher caloric intake, make sure you eat plenty of protein, keep your carbs low and hit the gym for lifting and some cardio and you should see improvements. If you don't overeat and stay off junk food, I don't see why you shouldn't pack on some muscle without adding significant fat.

That dude is really not that big. If he's around your height, 160 lbs., maybe? Who took those pictures, by the way?

You don't have much muscle mass so I bet you look skinny fat at 160+. Since you're just starting off, you could probably gain some muscle mass and lose some fat with a clean, high protein diet. I don't see why you couldn't look like that in less than 3 months.

Why do you have such high quality of pictures of the kid at a construction site?

Also, that was a good Lakers game last night eh.

You're also competing with his hair.

Lifting weights + moderate cardio should help. Also get a tan when the weather warms up... or go build houses in warm/poor country and get a head start!
