What are some good relatively inexpensive but good quality 17" flat screen LCD monitors? They don't need to be anything fancy, just something reliable and inexpensive because they're only going to be used to show an online schedule and MS Office applications.

This was a gift from my boss. I kept it for a few months before I just sold it. It is pretty solid. Made in USA. You can't beat the quality. If I needed a sterling silver money clip I would buy a...

I just picked this up and I am pretty pleased. Just what I expected. I am pleased with the Bark. However, I wish it was a little darker. A great deal for $35. Comparable to other belts in the...

I think most companies have switched over to 19" as the new minimum for LCD monitors but ACER still makes some really cheap/reliable ones:

Samsung / NEC panels are generally going to be higher quality but you'll also be paying around $75 more per monitor.

For 19" here are some decent ones, in order from cheapest to most expensive: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824009151 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824001245 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824001307 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824005110 For your purpose you really don't have to worry about things like response time, that's more for video games than anything else. Of those 4 I would probably recommend the Samsung 933BW.

Dell SE198WFP
Just ordered this on thursday and it came yesterday. I stacked the discount with a university discount and it was very inexpensive. Pretty happy with it, came with a 3 year warranty, and I was upgrading from an even older CRT then you.
