Considering some white/off white jeans - Page 7

My other recommend, if you're still out - offwhite > white > optical white. The brighter you get them, the less they'll go with, and they worse they'll look when they start to get dingy. Unless you're going to wear them until they look "professionally stained", opt for ones that are already a little dingy.

Bravely wore my new white 514s in public last night. Graze and drink birthday celebration downtown. Wife was slightly concerned that white wasn't "in season," I scoffed, wore them sans belt with a navy j. crew slim cardigan over a heather grey tee and my khaki desert boots. I got some nice compliments from a few people, and even better, nobody seemed to pay much attention to them. I was definitely the only one in probably the whole downtown doing this but it felt like a very comfortable outfit. And cool in a very Steve McQueen kind of way. I'm going to get a lot of wear out of these.

Mine are natural undyed, unbleached cotton, which adds some appeal for me. But I don't wear them very often at all anymore.

I think I like the dirty white wash in drkshdw detroit cut. poly, that's a damn near perfect fit. I've been hesitant about NDG classics because of the high rise.

I've been wearing my white/ecru HL jeans since 98! They get washed maybe once every few months..

I tend to wear them either Sat or Sun every week.

Also, I always pack a pair when I travel - they are very versatile, easy to dress up or down.

Sounds like a nice combo indeed. I picked up the Gap white selvage yesterday. Tried them on just to see the fit but then couldn't put them back on the rack. Very impressed.

Wow, i'm really impressed by the multitude of great fits by Phat Guido. I was sort of iffy on the white jeans thing, but now I'm sold. looking forward to the summer.

I don't know. There's something about a belt with white jeans that looks wrong to me. At least on me.
