These were re-marked to $125 in many NY area stores I've been in. I copped a pair and don't regret one dime.

ANy thoughts on these ACNE's? http://www.revolveclothing.com/Displ...s&d=b&sc=Jeans Looking to pick up a pair. Not sure how loose the "Generic Boy" fit is, but if it is anything like Nudie Ralf's, that's as slim as I'd care for them to be. Not sure if the rise is too long here, but it seems to measure similar to the Ralf's at 11 inches. I just don't want the sides to bulge out at the hips. Looking to pull off a similar look to PG. Something a bit more than S&D casual.

hmm im def in for the some slim white jeans i think some 514 style ones would look great with black tees and collared shirts in a mod look or something.

How could they leave out blue gingham with the sleeves rolled up?
Well, they left out a lot of options, really. They seem to have this thing for pairing loafers with almost every casual men's outfit, too. Nary a mention of desert boots.

I actually checked out the Am Eagle whites today and liked them. They're button-fly, slightly off-white, and fit a lot like a 514 with maybe a bit more room in the legs. Most pairs are a bit distressed around the edges, but nothing major. For under $50 would be good to check out and experiment with.

Nearby I saw the Gap whites.... looked almost exactly like the AE jeans from a distance, but the denim is thicker.

I got the AE pair, since they were the only store at my mall that had white jeans (my GAP never has any of the nice stuff). I like the fit, I bought my APC size and they fit great, the denim quality is fine for me, I'm not going to be wearing them hard daily for 12 months. I removed the lame-ass arcutates. The only distressing is on the hems and is not noticeable. Fake whiskers fell out with a cold soak.

I'll post pics if I feel like it once they are hemmed.

Arcutates?

do you mean the pocket stitching? Mine was half distressed (there was one line of stitching that had been tugged at, clipped, and frayed while the other line was clean) so I stripped out the distressed part. Too lazy to strip out the second row (plus, now mine are unique...nobody else has the same stitching)

Yeah, mine was already coming off, I just finished the job.

Here's a picture of the aforementioned AE straight fit white jeans (for about $16). The shirt looks blousey as shit...I'll have to fix that

I haven't read through this thread but someone PM'ed about posting my picture wearing my american apparel white ones. I imagine they've been mentioned already but here's the image. I sized down two personally but I'm pretty short (5'7) to get them to fit correctly.
