Considering some white/off white jeans - Page 14

Haha, I love those braided belts... just so much fun.

If you're tired of wearing white and blue shirts and white jeans, I like to throw different tones of green, gray and brown around to create a more neutral transitional winter-spring feeling. Pinks, purples and yellows can also be a lot of fun, sometimes its tough to find nice pieces though. I'm thinking about buying some cheap mall brand stuff on sale (J Crew, Banana, H&M) in white and dying them interesting colors. When I'm slumming it at home, I like white jeans or slacks rolled a bit, with red, pink, yellow, light brown or heather gray t-shirts and v-necks and whatever shoes. I think YMC had a pair of gray canvas oxfords last season that were great and would work wonderfully with a fit like this, regret not buying. Brogues and oxfords also work fine in all of the typical colors, but especially in blue or red or green if you can find them. I dunno, white is a neutral color and pairs well with just about everything. Also, Our Legacy has a very pretty braided leather d ring belt that's up on Tres Bien for like sixty five bucks or something.

Don't overlook black with white in the summer, I think it can be a good look. I know black gets lost in favor of brown, and while I do find myself wearing brown shoes more often, I think with white it's a pretty classic look, here's a picture from a GQ article a few years back talking about that: Here's me from a few summers ago, the jeans are dirty white, and I went with black chucks (I know, I know) and a simple black polo. I know a few things could probably use an upgrade, but I liked it then, and don't mind the look still

I think some people on here were saying Levi's were sold out of the white 501s. I noticed Sears has them on their website.

It seems white jeans would be weird, what exactly to wear with that? Earthtone colors?

Take a look through the previous pages for plenty of ideas. I personally like mine best with a chambray work shirt and desert boots.

I actually like sweaters with white jeans because of this. I'm not going for the cool summer look when I wear white jeans off season, and I don't want to make it look like i was just super eager to get to that aesthetic, but couldn't pull it off because of weather constraints or something.

I like a rather chunky sweater with white jeans, and sometimes wear an old, blue gray (with specks of off white) Harris tweed jacket with them and it's about as far from a cool summer coat as you can get.

FWIW, GQ has the GAP white selvage jeans in a spread this month.

J. Crew just put the Straight Fit Tompkins white jean on sale for 19.99 (normally 75). If you go to a store, they might not be marked that way, as was my experience tonight. But just let the clerk know about the online price and they should honor that.

I like the look of a lighter-weight v-neck w/ white jeans. Light brown or navy v over a gray t-shirt work well for me. I've also made a navy cardigan over a tee work too.

Just checked those out on the site, would be workable for $20 I am sure. If this was in the classic fit I probably would have already ordered a pair.
45rpm's white sorahikos have been catching my eye for a while now, I like that it is a bit more of an off-white color.

J crew has some nice off-white selvedge jeans in store. They are expensive though @ $168.
