Considering some white/off white jeans - Page 13

I think a light cardigan can be done but not a full on thick winter sweater

So I realized I have every color of Jean I could ever need except white, so I went to Uniqlo and bought a pair of the slim straight white ones. I need some ideas of how to wear this in the spring and summer. So far all I have is slim brown belt, brown brogues, pink shirt. Ideas? It's hard to match shoes with them that also matches a belt especially.

I think you don't need a belt in the summer, esp. if you are wearing an untucked shirt. There are also ribbon belts and other D-ring belts, surcingle belts, and braided belts that will go with any color brown shoe.

I go with light-colored dress shirts, blue mainly, and brown shoes. Lighter brown shoes like dirty bucks should work easy, but Phat Guido, god of white jeans, often wears dark brown suede.

Good call on the braided belts. The belt's important because most of the shrits will be worn tucked.

Lightweight red gingham, brighter coloured s/s shirts, my favourite lately is the simple beat up sneakers/white jeans/ plainish t-shirt. Simple and effective summer uniform.

I just got a pair of Levi's 511's and I wore them with my tan loafers. I loved how they look although b/c they only have 32 inseams, I cuffed it a little to show some ankle just to toy around with the look and I loved that as well. I'm gonna try them with my saddle's next, possibly a pair of taupe wingtips and when I get a pair of Topsiders, those too....

Anderson does braided belts for summer. Some are garish, but you get the idea how you can easily get more than one brown in a braided belt

I wear my white jeans with espadrilles and t-shirts in the summer. I don't wear belts with them. I think white jeans is de rigueur in the summer.

No belt necessary on whites...it seems to look better without them. If they get a little too stretched out, I am planning to go with a piece of cord (like a long shoelace or drawstring from a sweatshirt or something) run through the loops and tied at the front...might give it more of a summery look

I like the red gingham idea from one of the posters......I don't wear jeans, but I do sometimes pair a short sleeves black gingham shirt with white shorts and got complimented on.

Wear a red&white or blue&white gingham pattern shirt. Brown suede belt or a braided belt + espradilles/boat shoes, converse all-stars (red, beige, black) or brown loafers (you can also wear colourful tod's loafers in purple, orange etc.). You can wear a grey, navy, white, black blazer/jacket with white jeans... black shoes look good as well... Its nice to combine colour.

White is neutral so you can wear pretty much anything. Hope I was of some help.
