just got my first pair of alden's af84. i am very pleased, comfy right out of the box, they look great with flat front pants, or jeans. i would not wear these with a suit, but i was looking for dressy casual, these fit the bill. i will be buying more in the future. i will post pics once i figure out how.

I have been thinking about picking up a pair of AF78's but now I hear all this great stuff about the AF84's. I would primarily be wearing them with raw denim.

What do you think about the two?

I like to shine my shoes so I would like something a little more flashy.

HELP!

Kicking myself for missing out on Robin's pair in B+S. So nice.

Silverback, against dark jeans, of course, the tan AF78 boots would stand out a lot more.

Thanks!

Btw - to answer your question, the 84s would probably be more versatile but the 78s would look great with raw denim.

I'm probably going to pick up a pair myself when they get my size in stock.
