English RTW suits - Page 3

Aquascrotum makes me think of the cover for Nirvana's Nevermind. EDIT: By the way, sorry for my attack on the Italian aesthetic. But personally I found it more rude that one would come into a thread where someone is specifically asking about English cut suits and say to get Italian instead.

I don't find it rude, but rather unclassy, that people attack Aquascutum and other brands that don't meet their standards in such a juvenile way as we have seen in this thread. Not everyone here can afford Brioni or Oxxford or bespoke. To belittle and denigrate the choices of others in such a way is not kind, productive or necessary. I own 2 Aqua jackets and they are perfectly fine.

I just picked up a beautiful Hield suit in my local Off Saks for $250 after tax. The buttons were not in any of the pockets so they will have to be replaced but it was still a fantastic deal. The suit is fully canvassed and has a lot of handwork. It is also a very conservative design.

I think Gieves & Hawkes RTW is made in China.
At lease that is what they sell in Hong Kong.

IIRC, they sold the RTW business to HongKongese few yrs ago.
