Anybody listen to this guy? Holy shit! Pure, unadulterated funk. He has a cover of "Tell Me Something Good" that will blow your socks off. Some YT videos: Shake Everything You've Got Let's Get it On

I saw him on Prince's Musicology tour... that whole band was tight. Fun fact, Prince was rolled on and off stage in an equipment trunk. The band walks up like normal folk, giving low fives to people like me.

Maceo's been the real deal now for about 40 years give or take. Listen to his emceeing on PFunks Live at the Hollywood Bowl and as well as his playing with Fred and Pee Wee as the Horny Horns or his stuff with James and Bootsy's Rubber Band.
