I'm sad. The Prisoner and Secret Agent/Danger Man were two of the coolest shows of the 60s. Also, he was an awesome person.

If my memory serves me correctly, the flags were at half-mast in Kitchen Stadium yesterday. A dark day.

I would have rather heard about this from Connie. Edit: never mind, it's actually someone people under the age of 70 care about.

Good Bye, Dear Fans!

As John Drake (Danger Man, left and Secret Agent, right)

As a Director (On the set of Secret Agent and Within an episode of The Prisoner)

Fans of The Prisoner must make a pilgrimage to Portmeirion before they die.

Heard about this sad news the other day, but only just found this thread.

If I had to name only one personal style icon, Patrick McGoohan in his Danger Man / The Prisoner period would still be it. RIP.

RIP, didn't notice this at first.

Huge fan of the prisoner. Never seen Danger Man, but now I'm tempted to ebay myself one of those huge Danger Man dvd boxes.

You won't regret it - a classic show.

Seconded. The first season of half-hour episodes is decent, but not spectacular. The following seasons of full hour episodes are excellent.

BTW, all episodes of the prisoner are available to view on AMC Network's website
