Seriously??

There is no reason for us to have a back and forth conversation... I hate the fact that I am trusting someone else to tell me how an item fits. For example, I purchased a pair of Borelli shoes and they were said to be standard US sizing. However, when they arrived they were at least one size larger than marked. (More than likely Euro or UK sizing) So then, I am stuck with a pair of shoes that do not fit or a store credit.

Again, I am fine with your business model, it is just not for me.

it is slim, but not overly restricting. i am a 52 and the 52 fits fine.

Only two more days for me to get the Borrelli field coat. If I would have changed anything about the sale, or the Gilt model, I would add a 3-day shipping option. The next day was something like $30 more than normal shipping, which was $12. A 3-day $16-20 option would be great, as I would have sprung for that and would have already had my coat. As it is, it's taking over a week (!) to get to CA.

More fit pics on the Borrelli windbreaker, although I guess it's a moot point.

I was very pleased with the packaging from Gilt. The windbreaker is pretty much what I expected. It's very nice at $110 shipped. Maybe I'll wear it with the $1200 price tag on the outside.

This is a size 50. I think the fit is just about right. I really wouldn't want it looser or tighter.

My guess is they only offered overnight or ground shipping in order to minimize the number of packages that absolutely had to be shipped within one day. When I was in college, I worked for a retailer with a small catalog operation; when a new catalog would drop, the non-priority orders often had a three or more day backup. Another thing that leads me to believe this was part of Gilt's thinking is that the order I placed with them on the 14th was shipped (or is being shipped) out today (1/20).

No idea. Probably once they get a big enough stock of unsold or returned merch.

they mentioned 2x a year. I wasn't even on Gilt 6 months ago so I don't know what they did at that time.

There is another final sale going on as we speak. It should have been called a left over crap sale.

The Men's Employee January Sale is going on now. Looks like the same brands from last week's Final Sale. I called and only employees have access to the sale. I had wondered what would happen to the remaining merchandise.

WTF, why show items to everyone if only employees can purchase. It's kinda like teasing the rest of us who missed out on last weeks sale.....
