House of Cards (TV series)

Is this not one of the best miniseries ever made? I saw the first part (House of Cards, each part is 4 or 5 hour-long episodes) a year or so ago and am now on the second part, To Play the King. Ian Richardson gives one of the best performances I have ever seen and the supporting cast, including a young-looking Michael Kitchen, is great. Richardson's character, Francis Urquhart, is so corrupt and scheming that it makes you sick at times. Brilliant.

I saw it a while ago, it's very good but at times the deus ex machina and cheesy editing is a bit much.

Yeah, it can get a bit heavy on that. I finished the series tonight and must say that it's one of the best I've seen. Very much worth watching.
