OK, Louisville is a University. An establishment for higher education. It always bothers me when I see their logo. It is a Cardinal with teeth. Cardinals do not have teeth!

I wouldn't complain about the teeth. After all, I attended law school at a university that uses a fictional bird as its mascot. And, our fictional bird wears shoes!

Standford's mascot is a tree with eyes and a mouth. Miami's mascot smokes a pipe, I'm speculating in an effort to look more cantankerous. I'm not sure that USC's mascot's garb is entirely historically accurate.

It's just a mascot.
