Has any one hired a trainer before? I dont know really what i was looking for when i hired him. but he could do these crazy pull ups on the pull up bar, and hes cute...

... So any suggestions?

I am surprised he went down from $70 a session to $40 a session - almost 50% off. If he thinks he is worth $40 a session, why the heck was he charging $70 in the first place?

I use a CSCS trainer once a week. It's expensive but worth it for me since I tend to pussy out on my own. He's really good and we get along well...he's got a popular blog, and he's the rare meathead who can write correctly and well.

My goal going into the spring is to work C&Js and snatches into my weekly routine and I would never do that successfully on my own.

I hired one several years ago because I wanted to get into working out but didn't have the time to research routines etc. My advice would be to learn a routine and how to use stuff then go solo cause it'll get pricey pretty quick.

he pulls his knees up to his elbows and pulls from side to side ( if you can visualize that)

it was some sort of "long term contract price"

Sorry for the delayed response.

The original guy that i was talking about, i decided not to go with him. My choices were very limited as to whom i could choose because of the area that i live in. I met with another trainer ( that i fell in love with) that i think would be a better fit for me. Though he is more expensive ( $55 per session, a deal he worked out for me) he works out of a private gym so i will have privacy while working out, opposed to working out with the first trainer who worked out of a public gym which 90% of the members where males, and im sort of shy working out in large group setting.

secondly the 2nd guy seems way more professional, as opposed to the 1st guy seems to work out of his car so to speak. The second trainer has actual books of before and afters of his clients that he works out with. and hes so freaking sexy to top it all off.

well my first session is on Monday the 26th, wish me luck and ill keep you all posted!

if you want to check him out heres a link...
