the shoulders look horrible, the jackets too short...pretty much the same as everyone but ill eloborate further then I post a pic
Maybe you and others aren't understanding me very clearly.
I don't care what "the general consensus" of fit is.
I know perfectly well that the jacket is shorter than what is normally appropriate for business. That was completely intentional. I will never use that jacket in a professional setting. As far as what I like for casual wear, it's essentially exactly what I want (happenstance, as that jacket is exactly as I purchased it from a forum member)
I agree with other posters regarding the shoulder padding, and am going to correct that at my leisure, although, as I pointed out earlier, some of those issues are from the picture in question, which I will document later this evening.
As far as the sleeve length goes, I like my shirt and jacket sleeves to be shorter for casual wear, because I like my watches to be able to sit underneath the end of my sleeve. Maybe that doesn't fit within the rubric of the "consesus fit" but I don't give a fuck. Posting that you think the sleeves are too short is just wasting your breath because I don't intend to lengthen them. Feel free to say it, if it makes you happy, though.
Regarding the "datedness" of the jacket, I don't find it incompatible with the look I'm trying to cultivate, although I certainly own and wear more modern pieces as well.
If anyone else has any other comments, feel free to post them, and maybe I'll consider them, and maybe I won't. I guess you'll have to take your chances.
