I was under the impression that that was the general usage of 'fit' on here. Especially considering what some people call a 'nice fit' I would say fit the person like crap but looked like a good combination or whatever.
Yea, I'm pretty sure it's fit = short for outfit. Also sounds more masculine less womanly.

How did you get that animated look in that last picture?
I usually use "fit" as shorthand for "outfit". I don't use "fit" as a noun to refer to the way a piece fits someone's body. At least not specifically, though obviously that's usually covered as being part of the outfit.
