Thanks, now I feel like a crazy old man with a dream (that's good, right?)!!!

T4: My shoes are black chelsea boots from Charles Tyrwhitt, they used to have a 50% off for first time buyers and many forum members benefited from that offer. That being said, while they do the job perfectly well and I see no reason to replace them, I think RM Williams is a much better option, even if their offerings are more expensive; there's an excellent thread on the "men's forum" on RM Williams with plenty of links where they can be bought. I'd do a search for Tyrwhitt and rm Williams, these have been discussed a lot before. Again, if my chelseas died in an unfortunate lawnmower accident, I'd also look at offerings by:
"¢\tRaf Simons (love the rounded toe)
"¢\tJil Sander (I really like their footwear, now designed by Raf Simons)
"¢\tCostume National (some good deals can usually be found on ebay for costume)

Jason: brilliantly done, maestro.

Cult, great stuff - Chicago inspires in all types of weather.

Cheap, homme, and 666, very nice all.

As for the Scandis, I'm not really feeling the fuller cut jeans in either of your pics. I realize it's sort of an homage to vintage workwear (and I know I once stupidly ranted gainst "modern" cuts), but my two cents is it's just too much jean in both cases...

bona, i can see why you think that, especially with the denim jacket. But i really like fuller cut jeans (if anything i wish these were wider and more anti-fit) and I´ve been looking at some 30s lee 101 for a while, so when I found these cheap monday, which are very inspired by those Lees, it was a no brainer. I like the old school look, thats why Im wearing that cap with it aswell
Thanks for input though!

Yup!, well.,.. my sample maker did. Tapered from 18" to 15". Took 1/2" out of the thigh and 1/2" on the rise. All of the holes have been patched in lambskin on the inside and zig-zagged on the exterior. I was thinking of waxing them next in black, but that could be a project on a different pair.
