What Are You Wearing Now/Today Part I - Page 428

Interestingly enough, there's been a bit of discussion about those type of collars at Fedora Lounge. I'd want a detachable one for formal wear.

It has less to do with the affectation itself, and more to do with the people with whom it's become popular. At least for me. I have sort of a long-ish neck, and I actually like the way popped collars look on me most of the time, but the social signal it sends is "I'm a preppy douche", so no popped shirt collars for me.

I don't get this recent hate for AE. Those shoes look great to me. If you were size 11 (which I doubt) I'd *yoink* them from you.

I'm not a fan of AE, *in general*. they have exceptions that I like, the Drydens (pictured) are really cool...I also like the Shelton saddle and the Broadstreet spectator. Other than that, their shoes don't appeal to me visually. A combination of the uninspired lasts and the dainty uppers (not sure if that's accurate but it's how I see it) take them off my radar.

I think braidkid's traveling. There was a post on SuFu about it, but I'm too lazy to look it up.

Alright, this is what it's like to try to walk in Philly today:

Is it possible to apply a handicap for California Residents. The weather is glorious, hence the jean and tee outfits. Aren't we at a significant disadvantage minus the inclusion of outerwear? iTunes playing: October by DoF from the album A Year In Waiting. Rye and Sauce, awesome x2. Rye espec - I know you're always on about how "boring" your basic fits are, but I couldn't disagree more; I take tons of hints from you on how to make even simple parings look edgy.

GS - pwnage, as per usual (make it a double!)

kix, nice hap pose

Bobo, still dunno about the parka, although I def don't hate it; great layering/coloring either way

minya, really, really nice - "nice fit" gets thrown around pretty casually sometimes, but here the fit of the cargos and the cardi are great

topik, good debut; I'm still not there yet

And Luc, I know it's a cricket sweater, but I love how the clothes say uber-prep and the shoes say continental dandy...
