As for the visvims, I never thought I'd say this, but I think that you make them look good. Maybe that's the problem. I seem all these people wearing them with skinny jeans, and it doesn't really work. But with the wider cut of Rogan, they see, to be working very well.

i completely agree with sauce. They really look A TON better than the sammy's do man. And i'm not even saying that cuz i'm in the contest either. The ande whall's fit you like a ******* glove. perfect!

and thats why ande has me modeling them and the cougars for his soon to exist website...

i personally like the fit of the sams better... seems more versitile to me. i am eagerly awaiting the cougars tho, as they are a bit looser thru the legs. grifters are tight even after 3 days of wearing and 2 nights sleeping in them

I always wondered what people were talking about concerning Rogans falling apart. I bought these when he was still trolling the LES with tee's and jeans in his backpack looking for stockists. I guess they were better made when he was an unofficial business.

As for the Visvims, I'm certainly no pioneer of style but I try to take each item out of context and wear it a little differently.

Yeah, I really like the way you've worn the Visvims.

As for the Rogans, I think that the products are actually quite well made. The denim is lightweight, but good quality. I've inspected several pieces, and there are no (or very few) dropped stitches, and the overall construction is solid (stitch reinforcements at the right places, etc...) Same goes with the fleeces (CYC made, at least the early ones) and jackets. However, it seems like the treatments he favors are destructive to the fabrics proper. Not sure exactly what he does, but I've seen a number of companies do ageing rather *too well*.

Re: the Spurr Raw classics, if I have a chance, I'll take a picture tonight. I have to say that I personally think that they look pretty good on - pretty well balanced, at least on my body, despite some initial misgivings about the cut originally. They really reminded me of another jean, and I couldn't figure out which, and now I know. The cut is sort of a hybrid between the Nudie Straight Sven and the Kicking Mule Workshop 1950. Lower-rise like the Sven, and a slightly wider cut like the KMW 1950. Might be hard to convince you though, man. I remember that you used to dislike Rag & Bone, and I was all about their stuff (okay, so they had some early problems too, but who doesn't )

My gf has a pair of Rogan for about 2 months. It's ripped bellow the rear pockets. The denim feels really thin at that location. Maybe because I grabbed ass so much, but there are now two huge holes to expose her cheeks.

rogan cut and sew is amazing. amazing detailing on their button up shirts. i have one i got at UBIQ in philly for like $40. cotton is top notch (a bit too easy to crinkle though) but the underside of the collar and sleeves are ******* satin..

I agree completely. Still, I've found their jackets disintegrate faster than they ought to (say, compared to a Unis M65 which, I swear, is military grade.) Shame, because some of their stuff is very, very nice.
