Barba shirt Vintage leather jacket SSDS Paul Smith monkstraps Detail of the shoes: They're actually a bit darker than the picture due to the flash. When I got them they were sort of an unwholesome chestnut brown, so I'm pretty happy with them so far, I will probably do another coat of cordovan shoe cream. So far I applied two coats of cordovan shoe cream and one coat of cordovan shoe polish. I think I can add a bit more depth with one more coat, though.

I don't how Liverpool came back to beat Barca last week. After that first goal it looked like Barca was just going to steamroll them, with being at home, and all the hoopla surrounding Bellamy and Riise...

I love the high buttoning point on that jacket. It reminds me that I need to get that Armani Collezioni jacket I have with a similar buttoning point copied by a competent tailor because it has holes in multiple places from club use.

Right now I'm in Polo sweatpants, an Edun T-shirt, and Adidas soccer sandals. But to the Oscar party I hosted earlier (with "twisted formal" being the listed dress code) I wore the following:

-Chester Barrie for Harrod's 2B vintage midnight blue dinner jacket with narrow peaked lapels, side vents, and a short mod-style skirt. Black shell (MOP?) buttons, uncovered. I Wish I had the pants that went this this jacket, but it was a Bertie Wooster pick-up some years ago and who knows what happened to the pants.
-John Varvatos slate blue/grey pleated front "formal" shirt.
-Nudie Baggy Bjorn DS, sized a few down
-NM house brand burgundy OTC socks
-Salvatore Ferragamo patent leather loafers with grosgrain vamp and trim.

Sorry, no pic. Unless somebody took one and e-mails it to me tomorrow, which is entirely possible even though I don't recall noting such, it's going to stay that way, too.

I've got a ticket on the Kop for the game on Saturday v Man U at Anfield, I can't wait!.
