What Are You Wearing Now/Today Part I - Page 28  

Great day in Boston. I'm wearing Jay's Facebender shirt with 5EP straight resins, patched up at the right pocket where I ripped it with the extra denim 5EP provides. Actually looks quite cool, although truthfully, I was not thrilled when I first ripped these puppies. Oh, and a couple of leather cuffs and my Baltazar Maltese cross belt. No shoes since I am lounging around at home today, although I was wearing Cream and green Adidas Beckenbauer allrounds a little earlier. Um, I guess that the look is, West Coast rock-and-roll style as interpreted through (mostly) East Coast brands.

To anyone with, say, a 33 or waist, and slim but reasonably athetic build (think middle distnace runner): if you looking for an antifit jean, the 5EP straight down is great. If you wear it in a slightly larger size, you get great rucking from the straight leg (looks great with Adidas Allrounds, for example) and the dropped crotch looks really good. The denim drapes really well after just a week or so of wear, unlike Nudies, which take a few weeks, ime.

Yep, I think that those are them (grammar? That just sounds funny.) Measuring the leg opening now... 8.8 inches across on a pair of 32/32. These are true straightlegs, i.e. the knee and hem are exactly the same width, unlike the APC Standard of New Standards, or the HL classic, both of which taper from the knee to the ankle. I wear mine slightly lower than the model does.

Well, techically, it's a sportscoat. And I would call that a vintage sportscoat, probably from the mid to late seventies.
