I totally would post pics, but I don't have a digital camera yet! Maybe soon though. The shoes are awesome, except the purple dots on the inside are turning my socks purple, haha. I got them from Steven Allen.

Holy crap, that is an awesome outfit. I love how you managed to combine a whole shitload of styles into one and yet pull it off. Where'd you get those pants?

Yoox - gotta love their selection of Costume. I notice they even have a matching t-shirt:

Looks like they're all sold out on Yoox. Damn. How do the CN pants fit, btw? What size do you usually get/what size CN pants are those?
These pants were unusual in that they were sized according to the American rather than European sizing sytem. They are size 33, and they actually do measure 33" in the waist. However, I've found that the European-sized Costume National pants run a little large. I'm a 32-33 waist, and all the size 48 Costume pants I've tried on have significant room to spare, even though most other designers' 48's fit me perfectly.

It depends on the model. The casual models (like the cargoes you are wearing) are meant to be worn a little loose. On the other hand, some of their dressier pants fit really, really slim. I could barely squeeze into a pair of 48 stovepipes, and I have a true 31 waist.

The pants are obscuring the distinguishing buckle-and-strap closure. This is what they look like:

Yup, my mistake, thought I saw a toe cap and laces. Looks like they've been well-loved. I've always like the style, thinking about getting a custom civilian pair with straps like that.

Tom

edit-if you're a soldier, you could definitely teach the dudes in my unit a thing or two about how to dress.

Excuse my ignorance, I'm not familiar with any of the process. Just curious as to how often civilian dress is permitted? or is it always allowed?

If its always allowed, you're going to get some amaaaaaaaazing wear on your new RB1s

Gza, that outfit looks badical! I agree with Minya in that you pull together a myriad of styles into one cohesive unit very nicely

LOL yeah I wish. Right now, it's not "allowed" but I could probably get away with it during smoke nights and while I'm asleep Otherwise--well, people might look at me funny when I'm wearing nothing but jeans and rolling around in the sand, but we all have to make sacrifices for beauty!
