And it was! GB is two for two for me. I saw them last summer in NY and tonight was on par. Walter wore the cape, GB played everything plus Dance Floor Justice and As One, Walter played The Distance and a bunch of Quicksand/Rival Schools/Walking Concert songs, plus one Raybeez tribute song that was really good, and I got one of those Paul Frank GB shirts. Supposedly stage dives make one feel more alive, but I think I may have done myself more harm than good. Either way it was a blast.

No pics, but I wore a Dinosaur Jr shirt, APC New Standards, and black/blue Air Jordan Is.

Dead? Eh. It's just a silly shirt. Not that serious

As for tarnishing memories, I can't really speak to that being 22, but they were clearly really into it and having fun both times I saw them, and older people have said they are tighter now than they were originally, and a whole lot better than they were at the very end of the band.

Sounds like an entertaining show. I thought about getting one of those dino jr shirts at their show the other night... I guess that's one of those items you just don't worry about working with the rest of an outfit.

Out to lunch
Vintage Le Tigre polo (pink with blue and white stripes)
Nudie RRDG
Dunk High NL (blue/blue/gray)
J Crew waxed canvas bag

its not always about musicality. seeing gb first time around is an experience that had just as much to do with time and place as how well they played. i have to think seeing alot of bands now would be almost besides the point. i saw the sex pistols back when they toured a few years back and it was just horrible. a travesty really. and they played really well.

Adidas Saigon (the opposite colorway of Japans, red w/white stripes....if the Italia were a lil bit cooler, they would be these!)
