Funny thing is, this is Lee's drainpipe cut. But I sized up.

Thanks, dude.

I posted a separate thread on this issue, but what do y'all think of a pair of beat-up black oxford captoes with this?

And come to think of it, I have a pair of black wingtips about to go out of the courtroom rotation ...

Berlin, liking the the more casual drape/cut of these jeans. It's important to mix things up from the slim/clean look every now and then. You pulled this off well without venturing into AF or Chav territory. I would have definately thought Earnest Sewn "Rotton," before you mentioned sized up Lees. Well done.

Ahhh, I'm fighting the urge to not be a snob but I'm impelled to clarify that the tee is not Trunk Ltd. All my band tees are either pick ups from shows, thrift or vintage. Found this particular tee at a vintage store in LA that thankfully not too many people venture to.
As for the belt, the buckle is rather boring, just a solid black inlay stamped "Dior Homme" in a 12pt font with a 1/8" silver frame.

This is crucial. All band/concert shirts must be original vintage. No repros allowed.

Thanks for all the input on the denim jacket everyone (Berlin, A Harris, LA Guy, Pinoy). From what was said great care and thought should be taken before deciding to alter a piece that is meant to look a certain way. If I were to have the jacket taken in I might as well be changing the color or the material. I've had another EG jacket taken in before I've regretted the decision (the tailor took it in in the back, thus the front tends to spread, the pockets are further apart than they should be, and there's hardly any room for layering underneath). Another point, which A Harris brought up, is that I ought to stick to my aesthetic: loose and relaxed, which I haven't had any problems with. Enough with the monologue. Today's pics: couldn't make up my mind on buttoned or unbuttoned, so here's both. EG Bedford, RL Polo, Sisley Pants, ALIFE Boat Shoes

i really like the look, but i think it would be complete if you changed shoes. maybe boots?

BTW:

Berlin The jacket's great, but I agree with you that the pants stacking in the jeans is a but much. Seem's out of place with the crispness of the top. Nice necklace

GS and Rye Great shirts!

Kallun The outfit almost works, but the white pants with the dark scarf are throwing it off. Some brightness in the scarf or a darkening of the pants would be better, IMO. Great V-Neck though. And bigger pics please

Timpoblete, my vote is for buttoned. It's what I like best about EG jackets--it emphasizes their collars, I like the high gorge, and the quarters spread just enough.

Whoah looks like I stirred up quite a discussion with the slimness of TimPoblete's look. By slimming his look down, I was actually talking about the pants and not the jacket. But now that I think about it, A Harris is right. Tim should definitely stick to his loose and relaxed fit.

Tim, that EG bedford looks great, btw. I vote for buttoned up. The silhouette looks a lot cleaner.

Hi,

Thanks for the feeback! The trousers are actually medium beige and not white at all but the camera makes them look white (you may still have a point though). I take all pics with my inbuilt iSight cam on the computer. I will receive a proper camera in days and promise to improve the size and quality of the pictures.
