Hehe thanks... I personally think the rise is a bit high and not necessarily the most flattering for me but they do fit well in the thighs and calves, I suppose

Cheap, love the last two pics. Those are the greatest Nike sneaks ever. Nice job whodini, happy belated BDay. That Trovata shirt fits real nicely and looks great jpgm. And +1 on the "I don't like the Lavers" comments, but I'll take Hulkin' drizzt over robot drizzt.

^^thanks... i love the jacket. saw it hanging on the end of the rack at the thrift store in ft meyers from about 30 ft away... saw the roll of the lapel and knew it was mine. saw the price of 2.50 and really knew it was mine.

no tags of any kind in it... or darts... 3-roll-2 lapel... truly a tradly jacket.

Thrift stores here sell crap. Vintage stores here still sell crap, but take you for a hipster with a fat wallet. Florida is like a mecca for thrifting I guess. You got the weather too. F***ers. The hurricanes balance things out I guess.

Okay, folks, nothing you haven't seen before, and my face is deliberately hidden here so that you don't seen my bleary eyes (I have a big presentation today - on The Determination of Fire Plume Heights Using Satellite Data, for anyone who cares) which are the result of trying to pull everything together on the last day.

I just wanted to remind everyone that there are just a few more days left in the contest, and that if ya wanna be considered for the top three, well, ya gotta post. Jet, that means you in particular, man. Brian and I were talking about all the fits, and it's going to be hard to narrow the field down to three. There are some of the usual frontrunners, and then there are some dark horses. So, a few more days left. Post, post, post.

Whodini, THAT's what I'm talking about. The shoes pull it all together.

Fok - great shot, nice fit, and good luck...

Cheap - nice; what's the graphic on the 'preme? Great, er, sack too...

Who - very, very good - white collar out can often veer into douche-land, but looks great here, maybe b/c you don't have two pounds of gel in your hair...what jeans?

I like it, jpgm and drizz (drizz, you look like a linebacker in that first one; also, I don't think there's anything wrong with the Lavers); and tays - goddamn, son...killin' it, with a velvet blazer and an A/X jacket, no less. Stand back, folks, professional at work...
Also, diggin' the Ponys (Ponies?); I'm lookin' to grab some as Chucks/Dunks alternatives.

How do you figure? It's always seemed to me that if done wrong, it looks boring, and if done right, it looks classic; douchey never occurred to me.

Agree with the latter part; dunno, maybe what you call boring I call douchey...in general, I find douchebag AmJacks to be boring. Anyways, I think it sometimes reminds me of the "button-up under long-sleeve tee" look that was big in topicstyle circles not too long ago... I guess the moral of the story is just make sure you do it right...

Man, I *wish* the douchebag AmJacks around here would stick to plain white collared shirts under a sweater or henley. That would be infinitely more stylish than the broad- multi-striped button-front monstrosities I end up seeing outside some of the crappier bars in my neighborhood.

I'd prefer if they wore shirts with targets on them (not RAF roundel "mod-targets", even though that ****'s played out) so your sniper cat can take them out.
