I see western apparel the way I do jeans: it's either made by some mall company or it's legit. Choice is yours. To me it's timeless, uniquely American without having a bald eagle with Osama's head in its beak holding a 6-pack of PBR while driving a pickup truck to the Indy 500 tattooed on your chest, and can be dressed up without looking like you're going to a wedding. Or maybe it's coming from a family of farmers in the Pac NW. And like with jeans, once you're knowledgeable enough you can tell the cowboys from the greenhorns when it comes to real gear. (That one's for Jet. His heroes have always been cowboys.)
