This is some ballsy shit right here. Yes I sold a pair of Alden® for J.Crew Suede Bucks (US9.5). After receiving payment from Harbin I sent out the shoes to him the following day via USPS. A day later I had to go out of town. While out of town I received a PM from him saying the shoes had not shown up. I proceeded to check the tracking number and in fact, they were out for delivery in his area. The same day the tracking was updated with "Delivery Status Cannot Be updated". As I was out of town I told him that I wanted to give it until I got back in town to see if it was returned or whatever. Yes I did, say that I would refund him, but I decided against that pretty quickly when I was told that/ shown evidence that in fact the buyer (Harbin) does have the shoes and is trying to sell them... Oh, and all the while this is going on he is trying to rush me into refunding him with the excuse that he is leaving for China. What's up bro, forgot to leave on your trip and instead stay home to resell bootsy shit from Marshall's?!?! (Harbin) "Alex" Qingyu Xu 6112 Brigantine Dr. San Jose CA, 95129 Below you will find two different examples of this Crook/ Scam Artist trying to resell the shoes I sold him which he "didn't" receive. Oh and for MORE then I sold them to him... Example 1 - Harbin trying to sell my shoes to Shoreman

I'd be willing to let them go for $95. Maybe you have something you'd be willing to let go of in a trade+money type of exchange? I could really use some nice summer shoes. My sneaker size is between a 10-10.5 and fit into a 9.5 in brands like OSB, Mark McNairy and Alden.
Isn't $95 more than what you are selling them for by themself; 70 + 10 + 10 = 90. But for trades, I have a sweet pair of Alden for J. Crew suede bucks in size 9.5, barely worn. I was looking to sell them for around $220, are you interested in trade + money?
Seriously?! Damn. I'm really interested in those, actually--almost exactly what I am looking for? How long have you had them and how much wear did you put into them?
They are my roommates, but he's letting me sell it for him. He said it's got about a month's wear. To me it looks new when worn, if you look closely of course there is abrasion on the sole since it is all leather. I also gave you the wrong price, he wants $250 for them since they retailed for something like $445 and are sold out. I can ask him to take a few pics of it if you want?
That'd be great. I'd love to see some pics, please.
Those are perfect. So, what were you thinking in terms of trade + money?
Can you do $200 + blanket and gloves?
How would we work this out? Would you need me to send payment and then the items I will be exchanging? Or I send payment, then you send shoes, then I send out the rest?
Hmm, how about you send payment of $250 + shipping first, then I'll ship out the shoes to you as soon as I get the payment. Once you receive the shoes, you can send me the blanket and the gloves after I pay you $50 back?
You don't think you're shortchanging me a bit?
So you can't do $200 + blanket and gloves? If not, then that's fine. I don't mean to try to shortchange you, sorry.
I haven't said no yet. Would you mind if I think on it a bit? The blanket and gloves aren't going anywhere and if you could hold on to those shoes I'd appreciate it.
Take your time, but how soon do you think you can give me an answer? I'm leaving the country later in July just want to make sure if we go through with this I have enough time
Example 2 - Harbin trying to sell my shoes to Vinneus

oh sick! for sure! send pics....
I'm selling for my roommate. He's worn it gently for a month, twice a week for an internship. Here's a pic: http://i.imgur.com/2vguAl.jpg
i am really interested! they look awesome! i just need a few more pics to seal the deal... sides and the sole perhaps? thanx Vin
I would just like to say that I have bought and sold on this forum (speak w/ Shoreman or Vinneus) as well as many others over the years and this is the first time I have EVER dealt with someone of such low class. Just because paypal decided in his favor, does not mean that he is right or honest. Also, it is sad that he is a senior member of this community and will be looked at more favorably than I but you cannot deny the evidence above... If you would like more information on this particular case, please PM me. Also, Mods I would highly suggest looking into this transaction as he will no doubt try his shady business dealings again and again...

Kudos to highgrade for some lovely ties, and for fixing an oversight promptly.

Yeah, that harbin dude seems fishy...

...anyways! I ordered a pair of Allen Edmonds Strands from allaboutshoes on June 26. They were shipped on June 30, and I received them today, July 13. I'm in Canada, too, so I was pleasantly surprised with the shipping speed. The shoes were in fantastic quality, and I can't wait to wear them. My transaction with allaboutshoes was problem-free and the shoes shipped out in perfect, new condition, and very quickly. Dude's a great seller. I will more than likely be buying more AEs from him in the future.
