Well, it had to happen eventually I suppose since the infamous pink cashmere tie thread has faded away.
I just never thought it would happen to me, haha....

I was all set to buy an alligator RLPL belt from Scoundrel for $75. After a pleasant exchange in which we agreed on the deal I requested his paypal addy to consummate. Here is his reply.....(I edited out the lead in drivel)

Scoundrel:
Well... Someone has offered me $100 for this belt. I'm inclined to go with him, but you still have priority if you were to match his price. I'd like to still offer you this belt since you were the first to respond to my post. If you were to offer me $100 (including shipping), then I'd stop the haggling and just sell it to you. I guarantee you this. You're still getting a great deal, even compared to eBay. Please let me know ASAP.

The shocker here is that he sounded like a good person in our exchanges. Oh well!

meh, I wouldn't fault him for it, especially since you were only at Third Base of the selling process. Shocking would be scoundrel collecting $75 from you, collecting $100 from the other dude, and letting neither of you know the other transaction was taking place.

I just got a 42L Isaia tan/brown check odd jacket back from the tailor that I purchased from A Harris. Just some minor modifications. The coat, while used, is all that Mr. Harris advertised. Great quality and great service.
