Buyers and sellers feedback thread - Page 13

I bought some MOP buttons from Naturlaut II.
I paid him sometime in the middle of last week and sent him a private message inquiring about an estimated delivery date, but he did not answer.

Well, it wasn't neccesary, I checked my mail yesterday, and surprise! I had an envelope coming all the way from Hong Kong.

Very fast delivery, thanks a lot!!!

Two more excellent interactions to report.

First was with gregaz, from whom I bought a shirt. The price was excellent, the item was just as described, it was well-packed and arrived very quickly. Great communicator, as well. Would recommend, especially since he always seems to list 2-3 amazing items at blowout prices per week.

Second transaction was with breakfasteatre. He sold me two pairs of pants, both of which were excellent quality at an amazing price. They were very well packaged, arrived very quickly and were exactly as described. Could not be happier.

Completely aside from this positivity, I can't help but gripe about these sellers who start a thread to sell an item whose only contents are 'item x for sale, pics and measurements to come'. Why not get your act together before starting a thread? I can understand how that happened during the Incotex frenzy, and in some ways it leveled the playing field by giving everyone an equal opportunity to wait for the specifics to emerge, but it's totally unnecessary for closet cleaning threads of 1-2 items. Second pet peeve is sellers who start a thread and then disappear for a week on vacation. Seriously? If you're planning to be gone from the forum for an extended period of time, why not delay the creation of your sale thread until your return?

Bought a pair of AE Delray and Kennett from randallr (distinctive footware). They are in excellent condition and came quickly (that's what she said). I'm very happy with the purchase and happy to have bought the shoes Bought a tie from idfnl. I was very happy with it and his communication. Bought 3 pocket squares from stamp0102 and they arrived on time as expected. Very happy with the purchase. Bought 3 ties from spertia. They arrived as expected and was happy with his communication and shipping speed. Bought a tie from padronlover. Those cashmere faconnable ties are now my facorite (lame) and was happy with padronlover's communication. As a side note, I couldn't be happier with my experience here at SF. I'd rather buy from someone here than eBay any day of the week.

Purchased Martegani shoes from AnGeLiCbOrIs. Super fast shipping. First time I have purchased from Buying & Selling forum so I was a bit nervous. Easy to deal with and honest.
