Kind of disappointed in a recent transaction. I sold a jacket to a respectable member, answered around 9 pm's regarding questions and pictures, I even held the jacket for him while I waited for payment and answered his questions (waited almost four days for payment) and made sure he had 'dibs' so to speak despite interest from four or five other members on a jacket I didn't even make a thread about.
I get the payment and it turns out he's in Canada, which is fine, but shipping is around $10 more to Canada than in the U.S. via USPS. Obviously I thought he was in the States, and he never mentioned it. I asked him, if he could, to send an extra $10 to help out with the extra shipping and he refuses to respond.
This is an object where I didn't plan on losing money on, but I did after shipping, which is absolute bullshit because I was being nice by keeping my price as low as it was, seeing as how I could have probably flipped it easily for ~$50 or more than I did. Is my disappointment warranted? It's not that I care about the $10, it's the principle.
