Buyers and sellers feedback thread - Page 147

Kudos to mcbrown (sold ~$900 worth of Aldens), habitant (sold ~$300 1000 Miles), nsfny (bought some CP Achilles) and BrianVarick (sold some Wayfarers) for solid buy/sell experiences. Everyone paid/shipped on time and I would definitely buy or sell from each of them again.

User ImaPro wasted my time with numerous PMs before successfully haggling my price down... then asked for my paypal address.... then disappears and will no longer reply to PMs.

robgotsastaplerr -- very inefficient and dishonest seller. Sold me a ToJ varsity which came with a small but very obvious scuff on the forward-facing side of a sleeve (http://i1087.photobucket.com/albums/...o/P4185436.jpg). He made no mention in his post and PMs of any defects in the jacket. He also made no attempts to resolve the matter and instead declined knowledge of the defect. A lie, obviously -- firstly, it's very unlikely to not notice the scuff when packing it for shipment; secondly, the defect can actually be seen in the photo he took and used for his ad. Seller was also very unresponsive. He took a very long time to reply to my PMs. For this, refer to this complaint by another user: http://www.styleforum.net/showthread...rr#post3645447

why did you buy from him if he had bad feedback already and if you could see the scar in the seller's photo?

you should have at least asked why and had caution going into the deal. not defending the dude but people need to stop buying from him and let the market work

I only saw the defect in the seller's photo after I received the product and saw the scuff, and then decided to check against the seller's photos. And to be fair about it, you could just barely tell that the defect was there in the low-res photo. I was also extra cautious about the deal. Unlike the other buyer, I didn't pay him via gift, I opted for a transfer with the 4% paypal charges instead.

I purchased an APC leather jacket from member kamina. In his thread (which has been deleted for some reason), a picture shows that the jacket was in a good shape. However, when I open the package today (it took him almost 2 weeks to send out this thing), I found a huge tear on the jacket which is not fixable. I do not think this tear was created during the delivery process. I am resorting to the resolution center of Paypal right now.

If admin can see this thread, can you please restore kamina's thread which has been deleted? I might need that as an evidence to show to Paypal. Thank you.

I didn't send in a jacket with a tear. I sent it in the condition it was in the picture and I specifically stated there were no rips, strains or defects to the item.

I've also sold the denim jacket and the visvims, you guys can talk to the purchasers of those goods once they receive their items and ask them if I deceived them in any way. Cheers.

So, I'm the guy who bought the Visvims, and this guy never sent them. Not responding to PMs anymore. At this point I'm convinced he just took my money so I'm contacting Paypal to try and get it reversed.

I would say don't buy from him. I would go further and say he should be banned. If I find time this weekend I'm going to go a step further and make sure he's known as a scammer on the other forum(s) I've seen him on too.

Did he ever give you a tracking number? Yeah I would try to open a dispute in paypal. How long ago did you send him the money?
