Hey guys, we have new apps for our BlackBerries! More are coming but there are new Google apps and Internet radio apps (Slacker and FlyCast).

Check out Pinstack.com on your BlackBerry to download OTA.

I bought a slacker portable last week and just saw this today. Could have put it on my old blackberry.

But I am a HUGE slacker fan. Terrific site and with a little time investment you can have some terrific radio stations.

FlyCast? What is that?

It makes me very, very sad. I worked for an internet ad serving firm back in the heyday. We were called Flycast. After numerous buyouts etc. our name changed and then the whole thing went belly-up, but it's sad to see our old name on someone else's app.

FlyCast is the app for flytune.fm and flycast.fm. It's Internet radio for smartphones only. They launched for the iPhone and Windows Mobile but now the BlackBerry is in.

Slacker is now exclusive to BlackBerry, their own player and computers. The Slacker player is still better, IMHO. At least you can download the recommended tunes. On the BlackBerry it's streaming. Still, it's nice to have.

I have an 8GB MicroSD card loaded with music. One device to carry around is better for me.

P.S. Slickdeals.net has an 8GB card for $14.
