Xenon Lights - Page 2

Maybe there isn't much of a mindset to use them, even though they're not much expensive, not that $125 is cheap but most people just don't get them, all the more power to those that do have, if everyone had them it wouldn't be as hot

In fact many current manufacturers do use phillips but they use the older 85122 (not +). And they are MUCH cheaper than $125/bulb you paid for. Not sure which brand you purchased but time and time again Phillips has proven superior in bulb technology.

Seeing as how I got them at dealer net plus 15 I don't feel I overpaid as they carry the full bmw parts and labor warranty that buying a single bulb simply doesn't have. The philips are an outdated bulb, etk lists it as discontinued and most oem bmw xenon bulbs are made by osram. I love paying dirt cheap prices on bmw parts and having techs I know there do side jobs for me. My guy did a brake job, flush and oil change for me just wanted me to buy him lunch.

Finally, while I appreciate the information you posted which is not breaking news I don't think anybody on this board knows more about bmw parts than me.
