Boring.

You made the mistake of trying to have a conversation with her. For that, try a Grad student.

I think that's fine then. Better to die young and pretty, right? (well relatively speaking)

And since when is it a rule that a grad student knows how to have a conversation?

Yeah... sounds like an alcoholic. She probably started as a binge drinker in college and her early professional years and then as work and life wore her down she took to drinking more regularly, in what seems to be quite alarming quantities.

Guessing that you haven't broached the subject with her yet. You're a smart man, you could bring it up rather nonchalantly. She might think that she's more fun when sloshed and therefore tries to get hammered when she's around you, can never be too sure the motives...

Personally I don't think I could handle something like that. *cue story time opening music*

I met this funny and extremely attractive 25 year old at a party a couple months back. Early in the night she and her friends joked about how she's a budding alcoholic. I kinda laughed thinking that ok, she gets drunk a few times a week, big deal. WOW could this woman drink. She's about a 5'8" 135lb girl who was going drink for drink with me (I remember having at least 8 drinks with her and we were both pre-gaming before going out). I know I was shitfaced at the end of the night and I'm sure she was too...but most girls would have passed out, puked, require a stomach pump or some combination. She was glad I threw her in a cab but man, I don't think I could take that kind of a woman on a regular basis....

Good luck buddy.

Better than an undergrad, that's for sure. Lump in young professional under 30.

You consider listening to the merits of gender free language for two hours to be better than only having to listen for one hour before moving on to hearing about other forms of gender oppression? I prefer a more diverse experience, so I'll take the well rounded college girl.

Hey, old man, I don't know how I'll feel about it when I get to your age. Right now, it seems like a good option when I get there though.

I'm still looking for Wife #1 because Wife #2 hasn't been born yet.

Grad school girls tend to be boring and annoying in one subject, while college girls are boring and annoying in several subjects, but their tediousness rarely finds the heights of grad school girl tediousness. Both are better with something going in, rather than out, of the mouth.
