I've got to go with Onitsuka Tigers, though they've become fairly ubiquitous.

Black suede with white leather Puma Speedcats - the hipsters have abandoned them, so they are now safe. These shoes more than any I have owned promote female shoe-glancing (differs from shoe gazing) and generally meet with approval.

My favorites right now are Nike Shox, Nike Dunk, adidas Superstar, and the New Balance 991.  I Ilke Puma Speedcats, but I don't own any.

My favorites, in no particular order (except, I guess, price), are:

Chuck Taylor hightops (black or brown corduroy)
Adidas Italias and Samoas (sadly, the former are impossible to find these days)
and
Puma Mihara MY-5, MY-7, and MY-8. The designs and colorways are just amazing.

My favorites are:

Chuck Taylor Low (Black, of course)
Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66
Vans Slip-Ons

Not really a nike fan.. it's too much shoe for me. But it's not like there aren't 14,392,772 fanatics ready to drop a million on the newest limited edition Dunks.

I like Y-3 shoes and would probably own some were the cost not insanely high. I like to tear my shoes to bits, it would suck if I had to be careful about it.

My go-to sneakers are Adidas Sambas.  I also have a pair of K-Swiss classics that I wear quite often.  I like anything Adidas puts out, and would probably own at least five pairs of various models if my budget and closet would allow.  Love the new brown suede Forest Hills, but I'm not sure about the yellow stripe . . .

Yeah those Lavers are dope, but I've recently converted to the Ilie Nastases.

I rock the New Balance 991's

like religion but I am thinking of trying some all white Van's slip ons (30 bucks? you can't beat that).

The only thing is, I am afraid of looking like a prisoner or a charlie. I had some lavers; they weren't comfortable but they still make it out sometimes.

Love many of the sneakers being mentioned. However, I have problems fitting into some of those slimmer unisex type sneakers. Speaking of Rod Lavers, these look nice in the summer time. Not as comfortable and more pricey than the one shown by Shoreman though.

Also a tad surprised in a few similar post, the Jordan XI was never brought up.

i see a lot of adidas fans in this thread - for those that dont know adidas has a campaign that recently launched to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the superstar model. lots of new (limited) variations of the superstar are out including shoes dedicated to Run DMC, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Underworld, Ian Brown, etc., etc. 35th Superstar Anniversary

I like the classics:

Jack Purcell
Adidas Spezial
Puma California
Adidas Rod Laver

Those are nice. Are they a certain Laver model? Seem like a Stan Smith/Laver hybrid.

J, I have those exact same shoes. Come to think of it, I notice a lot of female shoe-glancing when I'm wearing them too. I always thought that they're looking at my foot size to see if I have a big

. Also a fan of Onitsuka Tiger 66's (have them in birch/latte/indian ink).
