Ah, that makes sense. We appreciate you hard-working minorities. Maybe you can save up enough of that $5/hr. pay to send Little Juan to college someday!

I hope so. My grandmother-in-law has had one for decades, and it has always been my favorite chair. So comfy. There would be worse things to become must-haves.

I've been really happy with my Wushtofs and Le Creusets and want to add to it. I also want to spend all my marriot points on something but don't know what. Thats about it since I bought a Yeti 575 at the end of 08.

Hmmm, the 2009 major project list is pretty well full already, barring any sort of disaster.

First thing: Titanium hammer. Should be here tomorrow.

Parts for fishing boat re-furb (including around 5 gallons of resin, paint, varnish, and probably a spray booth).
Random parts for plywood/resin jonboat.
Cheap pot and propane tank for home soapmaking project.
Truckload of hardi-siding for in-laws' garage (hence the hammer).

Actually, I think that has us covered for the first half of the year. I'm sure other stuff will crop up.

You don't know how envious I am. The closest high caliber company to me is about 5 hours' drive away in San Francisco, notwithstanding touring visits from random companies. Not to mention all the cool stuff you have nearby at BAM and other CC acts (eg. Morphoses).

I will be making about $1 a week out of college.

Eh, where I come from this shit doesnt exist (Spokane, WA), people go all out blah design there (think of everything seeming like its stuck in the late 90s or early 2000s, everyone has thrown out classic mid century pieces or anything remotely interesting). I had never even heard of Eames till I moved to Japan, saw some cool looking chairs and asked who made them.
