exactly!

i dress for myself. if i walk with confidence, that shows. it's swagger that makes you attractive, not what you're wearing. my motto is: "mindset makes the man, the clothes just make it easier to think that way."

i can attest because a few of the people on SF (myself included) were/are total dorks, on more than one occasion i can remember talking about geeky high school experiences with more than a few of you! when i started getting into clothing i also started working out, so i guess the combined female attention i got from the result of cleaning up and trimming down was the boost i needed to get my mindset on track.

I dress to impress everyone and anyone, including myself and various others. I don't think it shows any great weakness to wear something that will impress ladies, even if it's of inferior quality.

Perhaps your better-quality clothing could be a conversation piece though, "Yeah, I thought about getting some TR jeans, but the quality of these is so much better. Touch the pretty jeans. Yeah, you like that.".

Go with a velvet blazer. Women LOVE to touch and feel...

The story of my life as well...

Good motto!

I don't fux with TRs because it doesn't match up with me. I'm not a loud, colorful, flamboyant, expressive, etc character, and I don't wish to become one. Don't have the money to keep up with trends either. Broke AZZ recent high school grad for the lose.

I don't dress for girls one bit, if they don't like how I dress, I could care less.

I don't dress to impress girls or other clothing afficionados I dress to impress myself.

As a rule, it's never a good idea to do anything for girls. That actually attracts them even more...LOL...

Depends on the girl...but for the most part I think that's true, in the beginning.

As a relationship develops, not doing anything would be a poor strategy...

This morning my girlfriend asked me if I approved of her outfit before she went to work...seems like she dresses for me

I dress for myself.

This thread is hilarious. All the "I dress for myself" bullshit. You guys sound like emotionally stunted adolescents storming off yelling "I don't dress for anyone but ME! It's just for ME!!!" Give me a break.

Give me a break.

...and your point is?

My point is, you're all obviously interested in pleasing your observers as well as yourself. You want to look good for people, you want to look good for girls (or guys).
