I don't know what I can add, but I was at The Bay downtown in Edmonton the other day and my God, it is a wasteland! I noticed the lack of true Sperrys, although they had some of the other, weird, uncomfortable looking non-classics. The Bay in downtown Calgary is somewhat better, but I don't know if they have boat shoes. I bought mine on Zappos.

Sorry I didn't see this until now. I've never actually went looking for boat shoes, but I would imagine that selection in Edmonton would be very minimal. If you found Sperry's, John Varvatos, and Cole Haan options, I think that's as good as you can do without going online. I wouldn't even know where in Calgary to look for something like that.

This weekend was nice, I wandered around whyte ave and finally got to check out Gravity Pope Tailored goods for the first time. Some very nice stuff there. I like the APC's and Paul Smith Jeans. Unfortunately, they only seem to carry 1 size - small.

I wandered over to Queue (I was blinded by the amount of Ed Hardy they've stuffed into that place) and everything started at large.

It seems these stores only want certain types of guys to shop there.

Have travelled to Ft Mac for business but not lived there (brother in law does however). Air Canada has these flight passes which you can buy in books of ten. You may want to see if they offer a bulk discount.

Yes, and I'd say I'm reasonably happy, although I go elsewhere for basic stand-bys (white, light blue and light pink). There are a lot of threads on the topic of the options you have, so search around, and when you go to get fitted, ask lots of questions. Definitely get upgraded buttons.

Thank you. I'm also tempted to have my tailor make a shirt but he is $200 to $275 so I have held off that option.

I have found small tailors in Calgary who do shirts starting at $80.

That's pretty reasonable - may I ask your opinion as to how they compare to MyTailor in your experience? Fabric choice, Fabric quality, build quality, durability?
