sashae, I had a good experience with Barchi for sewing working buttonholes: http://www.in-newyorkmag.com/profile...hi_profile.htm for a Caruso suit I bought with unfinished sleeves. B
What is their pricing on alterations? A pants hem, for instance? I have been using Bhambis who are very expensive - $30 for taking in waist and $20 for the hem, works out to be quite a lot. Thanks zj

zj, I have no experience with them other than that. Even this was arraged by the owner of the store I bought the suit in, so I actually paid him ($40 for 8 working buttonholes). B
