2008 insights: I spend way too much time on SF. 2009 clothing and/or SF related plans, in no particular order: - I´m finally going to take several lenghts of cloth that have been lying around at my place for quite some time now to one of the Georges in London, probably to this one, though not sure yet: http://www.georgebespoketailors.com/ - It´s high time to meet some fellow members in person. Perhaps a German/Benelux get-together would be in place? - try Gaziano & Girling´s MTO service, and in the same vein - Cleverley´s MTO service - and have a closer look at Foster & Sons´ MTO service - order a scarf from HowardYount.com - order a navy blue grenadine from Sam Hober - pick up some more white linen pocket squares - order a bunch of shirts from Jantzen - actually receive a bunch of shirts from Jantzen - order a pair of R.M. Williams Durrack boots for the missus - order a pair of R.M.W. Craftsman - drape, drape, drape

I think I may break down, buy some J. Press ties, and take them to Tiecrafters to be altered.

What's so special about J.Press ties? You always drool over them, from little experience I've had with J.Press, their merchandise basically sucks.Haven't seen any of their ties though.

I like the no-sheen, matte-finish, regimentals.

I knew it was coming.

Funny to me - My investments, small as they are, made a profit last year.

And will likely continue to.

I laugh when people talk about the Australian 'Peso'.

I'll be laughing harder when people start talking about the U.S 'Peso' in a few years.

2008 Discovered C+J thanks to Style Forum Realised that everything I buy off the peg except accessories and knitwear must really be altered. Discovered the merits of cashmere and made to measure shirts. Finally bought a decent quality leather bag and wondered why I hadn't earlier. 2009: A grey POW wool/cashmere or tan Donegal tweed 3/4 length coat, probably bespoke. Expanding my 'town' colour palette of grey/black/white/blue/red/purple to include more 'country' colours such as golds, rusts, and various shades of brown. New tan brogues and chestnut boots, preferably from C+J. Continue to spend more on less, but better quality accessories.

Not necessarily. I'll just use J. Press for regimentals. Rubinacci's pickings in that area are slim and erratic.

Any further insight or recommendations about cashmere sweaters from India. I'll be traveling there in a month or so.

Probably a nice suit or 2 (few big sales are still coming up here), and I guess a few polos for the summer. Otherwise I'm pretty much set, big thanks to the US economy for my updated wardrobe.
