Too bad, we'll let the Eagles handle the Giants while the Cardinals go take care of business in Carolina!

Ed Reed is this generation's Rod Woodson. What mad ball skillz.

Yay for the Monday (Sunday?) Morning QB. Why hadn't I heard that before the game, with the Colts' seeming invincibility, 9 game winning streak and all.

I'd take McNabb over widdle Eli any day.

I'm with you. Ecch on Carolina. I think it's the uniforms for me by and large. I suppose that's not odd on a clothing forum.

Norv Turner's won two consecutive AFC West titles. Herm Edwards took the Jets to the playoffs three times in five seasons. It's possible for a team to succeed in spite of its coach.

I'm not saying Andy Reid is in the same class as Turner and Edwards -- he's flawed, but you're right, the Eagles have been perennial contenders under him -- but if a team is good enough to beat anyone in the NFL, but can also play poorly enough on any given week to lose to even the worst teams in the league, that's an indictment of the coach.

Make a list of the most underachieving franchises in the last 10 seasons, and all things considered, the Eagles have to be at or near the top (along with Norv's Chargers). They're regularly among the league leaders statistically but don't have the record to match. That's Andy Reid's fault.

this is mainly due to belicheat/dungy imo biggest dissappointing thing about these playoffs is the lack of a colts/pats game...

Guys, let's be serious. The cardinals will never beat the Panthers. Are you guys forgetting the Cardinals have only beaten 2 teams with a winning record this year? Or how the Panthers are the only team in the NFL to win every home game this season (note: this will also be a home game for the Panthers [which I have secured tickets for ])? Or how the Cardinals got beat 5 times by 20 or more points this season? Or the fact they have one of the worst records, in NFL history, to get a playoff seat? Or how only the Lions, Chiefs, and Rams (who combined have 10x as many loses as wins this season) gave up more points? The Cardinals shouldn't even be in the playoffs, let alone the second round.

Eagles fran. I like McNabb--I think fans who want him gone will miss him. But in his postgame interview, he said the key was that the Eagles didn't turn the ball over. I guess intereceptions and fumbles don't count anymore. He's like the GWB of quarterbacks.

andy reid is a poor father and a fat piece of shit. case closed.

NFC West Champions Baby!

To be fair, I realize it was a weak division.

I'm rooting for the Cardinals because I live here and a good friend is married to one of the players (and she gave me a ticket to Saturday's playoff game). I'm also rooting for the Eagles because a friend from undergrad is the team's GM.

I agree - anyone with a BMI above 30 has no business coaching any professional sport anywhere.

Reid led them to the NFC Championship game 4 years in a row. You can't be a bad coach and have that kind of consistency, imo.
