Miami should've gone for it.

Well, when and if Vikings need to put in Frerotte for Jackson, they might as well just board the flight back to Minny.

Look at their schedule and results, not their record. They could have easily (EASILY) been 11-5 or 12-4, and then they would be considered one of the best. They had several last-second or bad-call losses. They are not your typical 8-8 team.

2) I'm happy to see Arizona get a playoff win at home. Hopefully the Cinderella story can go further. If nothing else, they are fun to watch in that Culpepper-Moss way that the Vikings were several years ago.

3) San Diego deserved to win any way you cut it. They outplayed Indy. Sproles is a beast and only team politics kept him out of the starting line all season. He is San Diego's back of the future.

+1. The Chargers are only a surprise to those who haven't been paying attention. They were only one game away from the Superbowl last year with a rookie QB and gave the Pats a run for their money.

I want the Eagles to win too.

wtf was with that end-around on 3rd and one to Dallas Clark late in the game? i think that in itself shows the lack of confidence in their own run game. Peyton played a brilliant first half, but never really got it going in the second. I thought that was just about the colts could expect to hold the chargers running backs; sproles is just too good. He looks like he is much faster than anyone else on the field. refs carried the bolts on a couple big plays in OT. Pollian, please fix Overtime, it is broken

Polian is such a whiney bitch, you know he will try. But I expect he will first try to change the rule thatput the 12-4 Colts on the road versus the 8-8 Chargers.

There were some questionable calls. Doesn't matter. Colts never should have been in that position anyway. They got outplayed yesterday regardless of the officiating.

I don't know if "sans Tomlinson" really means anything anymore. If Darren Sproles can put up numbers like that with any consistency, Tomlinson will be out of a job. That guy was just impressive as hell. What was it, 328 total yards? Jesus.

Not taking anything away from Sproles, but let's remember this was the Colts' defense. It was pretty clear they just didn't have it when Michael Bennett started breaking off big runs.

Also, where the hell was Bob Sanders on all of those screens and dumpoffs? He's usually Johnny-on-the-spot when it comes to breaking those short passes up, but that's where Sproles did most of his damage.

Thoughts on Ravens-Titans? It's very possible Baltimore will be favored -- on the road, as a No. 6 seed, against the No. 1 seed. I'd set it at Titans -2.

Dude...

They're playing in Minny.

With that obnoxious Viqueen horn.

Wow. I'm watching the Vikes-Eagles game. Eagles had a 3rd and 1 in Minnesota territory, and went for the pass. Didn't get it, of course.

What is it with all these teams that can't RUN worth a shit on 3rd and very short? It's just laughable.

What's the opposite of 'smashmouth' football? Wussmouth?

Oh, that fucking horn! I have nightmares about it.

But the vikes will win, I think. Philly has been up and down all year, and this should be a down week for them.

Good one.

But I think I'm going to go with 'punk-mouth'. Philly better get more aggressive, or the Vikes are going to pwn them. You've got to be physical in the playoffs.

Edit- LOL. Philly threw on 3rd and 1 again. Got intercepted.

Only way they win this game is if Tavaris Jackson chokes. Which could happen.

fuck! was hoping the cardinals would have to come to the meadowlands. i don't like giants v. philly, though mcnabb is playing to his usual level, so perhaps there's no need to worry.
