Whether they retail higher or lower, they're all sterling silver (.925) or gold vermeil I believe. I have two of the more expensive hallmarked enamel links and a pair of the less expensive non-hallmarked enamel links and the quality seems similar. It's interesting that RT didn't get all of them hallmarked. I wonder how much it costs to have the links assayed?

This is a good point... both the $175-retail ones as well as the $400+ retail ones are quite nice for different reasons, and for similar reasons... they're both sure to garner loads of compliments regardless of their retail value. It would be difficult for many just looking at the face of the links to discern whether they are the more expensive ones or the less expensive ones...
