Well, if my thread on Spike's Top 10 Cars for Douchebags got you worked-up, this thread promises more of the same!

Spike's blog article Top 7 Most Overrated Singers is here to spill the blood of vocalists venerated by those of questionable aural aesthetics.

Here's a preview, and she's not even number one.

That's because she's a performer not a singer. Anyways no one thinks Britney is a good singer in general so she cant be overrated.

I think we're forgetting that, when Britney first came out, many deluded ppl honestly thought she was good (though they certainly won't admit to it these days). Scary as that sounds. Btw, that Amy Winehouse pic is threatening to make me never be erect again.

I like Christina Aguwhatevers voice, I just don't like what she sings.

I realize he is new and has a good back story, but Paul Potts should never have been allowed to sing publicly, so by virtue of me even knowing who he is, I find him to be extremely overrated.

Paul Potts sucks. Uneducated idiots hear a mediocre opera singer (is he even at the mediocre level?) and go nuts. "HE IS THE NEXT PAVAROTTI!!! THAT'S THE ONLY OPERA SINGER I AM FAMILIAR WITH BTW!!!"

Remember when Britney, X-tina, and Madonna all sang "Like a Virgin" at the VMAs? I actually thought Britney's understated performance sounded best.

That X-tina clip was horrific. While her vocal chops are undeniable, her overall performance lacks any sense of musicality. It's the kind of singing that can only ever impress you, but never truly move you.

Potts is average. But I would rather listen to Josh Groban. At least he is classically trained.

+1 You absolutely hit the mark on Christina. She needs to go into a different genre.
