For me it's been either Mario Kart or Tecmo Super Bowl.

Fable II, Fallout III, and Persona 4 were all excellent. And of course, HD Remix! Hit me up on the 360 if you want some matches (gt: Gekirou)

GTA4 (then again I haven't played much else this year)

Left 4 Dead is pretty perfect, once the dl content comes out. There's nothing quite like it. I just got a hunter kill by waiting in the tom cruise closet by the elevator in no mercy, one guy suspected something and shot a hole in the door, I jumped through the hole and pounced until death, as the rest of his team were getting ready in the operating room. Classy.

Was this on-line? This sounds like a crazy game.

Smoker drag needs to do damage. Weapon melee could possibly use a slight 'cooldown'. + I want the new weapons now.

The game would be absolutely impossible on expert if they put a cooldown on your most important weapon.

I don't see how it's possible on expert as it is. I've only played maybe 10 hours total though.

It's definitely possible. You have to know some good players to play with though. Randoms are rarely very good.

haha, once you know the levels very well it's easier. Still a matter of luck often though

My vote's for GTA IV, so far. I feel like since it was released earlier in the year, a lot of people are sleeping on it. Gears of War 2 as well. But I have Fable 2 and Fallout 3 waiting in the wings, so who knows how I'll feel after playing them.

I still am pouring a lot of time into Madden. Franchise, playing online, playing in EA's online "Champions of Gaming" tournament... can't get enough, especially not during the playoffs.

I know Left 4 Dead is primarily an online game - the thing is, I am terrible at online games that aren't sports. I get massacred in games like Team Fortress 2 and Call of Duty. Could I last in L4D?

Yeah, once you get the hunting rifle you can hang back behind your team and take it slow.

L4D is my pick too. I play it all the time. I've gotten real good at it and usually play on expert.
