They could learn a thing or two about charm from you.

Alright, alright, there's only ONE SF-approved way to handle this little tizzy amongst the sisterhood. Obligatory hot-oil wrestling. Sorry, that's just the way it's done. I get to determine the winner. SoCal is line judge. Manton is on "phone a friend" if we can't reach a determination.

^this certainly is the first time in history Manton and hot oil wrestling have been mentioned in the same breath!

They didn't laugh so much when they got shot in the head by them later. Again, the way to deal with these sort of people is simply ensure, through marginalization and making them obsolete, than they can get NO attention. OR, in any case, to realize that their ideology is no laughing matter... it was "laughable" to many to think that somebody would "exterminate Jews." And we see what happened.

Never underestimate pure and simple evil.

So, before you good folk break out the oils ..... do you think the Holocaust should always be off-limits for humor? What about when it is used as a coping mechanism for survivors? Is it ever possible to laugh at evil without mitigating it?

Oh, I think it CAN be made a subject of humor... as anything can... but I was thinking less the general subject "Holocaust" than the particular instance of approaching the subject as the "Reporter/Comedian" did in the clip linked on page one.

Maybe on THIS forum... but trust me... I think it's been uttered before (if you know what I'm sayin' wink wink nudge nudge).
