John Lobb Sizing Question

Thread Starter
Can anyone confirm wether JL's made for the Us market (specifically Neiman Marcus) are marked in US or UK size? I recieved a pair in the mail from Neimans in Atlanta and told the salesman I wanted UK8 (Us 9) specifically. When they arrived I noticed the box was marked 9, and inside they are marked as 9E. I am assuming he screwed up and actually sent me a 10us considering they fit large.

Thanks in advance for the help guys.

They're marked in UK sizing so whatever size is marked on the inside is the UK size.

I do have a CJ made split toe, pebble grain and double sole and I love it.These are almost the same except it is wholecut. My concern is that they don't take shoe cream very well, are you having that problem?I am using AE dark brown shoe cream.

You are welcome my friend. I use neutral wax on the shoes and have found them to darken a little on thier own. I LOVE the shoes!

I got the Marlow (from RL) a year before the Ash, or thereabouts.

I'm hooked on double soles. Although I have single soled shoes, I find that I rarely wear them.
